Dear Mom,
You raised me, loved me, and shaped my life from the very beginning. You showed me what it means to serve others without expecting anything in return. You taught me that love is action, not just words.

Everything I am, I learned from watching you.
You told me to continue your work of helping people- to never stop caring, never stop giving, and never forget those in need.
I promise you that I will carry that forward.

Joyce’s Helping Hands exists because of you. Every life we touch will carry your legacy. Every person we help will reflect your love.
You are no longer physically here, but your spirit lives on in everything we do.

I will honor you with my life’s work.

Until my last breath, I will continue what you started.

Every helping hand has a story.

This organization exists in loving memory of Joyce Harris: a woman of faith, compassion, and unwavering love.
She was a pastor, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, and a friend to many. But beyond titles, she was a servant of people. Joyce was a woman whose life was defined by service.

She fed the hungry, clothed those in need, comforted the hurting, and welcomed anyone who came to her without judgment.
Her life was a living example of what it means to love people through action. If someone needed help, Joyce did not turn them away. She gave what she had, even when it required sacrifice.

Joyce’s Helping Hands exists to continue what she lived every day:
service, compassion, dignity, and hope. She was known not for wealth or status, but for love in action.

Joyce believed no one should go hungry, no one should be without clothing, and no one should face life's hardest moments alone.

She spent her life serving others with compassion, generosity, and faith. Joyce’s impact continues today through every life she touched and every value she passed on.

Today, her legacy continues through Joyce's Helping Hands. It was created to ensure that a life of compassion does not end with one person but continues through generations.
