🎒 Help Students Start the School Year Strong!

As children prepare for a new school year, you can help them begin with confidence, compassion, and care.

Join us as we partner with the RUTS Foundation, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Hope Community Clinic, and Casa Viva Church for a community-wide Back-to-School Event.

We Need:

🩺 Volunteer Nurses
Assist with hearing and vision screenings and support school health assessments (training and equipment will be provided).

🗣️ Interpreters
Help bridge communication with families by providing language support throughout the event.

🤝 Caring Companions
Welcome families, offer encouragement, assist with event flow, and be a compassionate presence for our neighbors.

Today, we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and give thanks for those who have sacrificed to protect them. As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, may we remember to use our freedom to serve others with compassion, kindness, and love.

Halfway through the year, and we're celebrating what God has already done through this incredible community.

Because of our amazing volunteers, supporters, and collaborators, so far in 2026 we've:

✨ Accompanied 20+ neighbors through personalized 1:1 advocacy, including nearly 15 Spanish-speaking neighbors.
🩺 Listened to nearly 100 heartbeats at our monthly drop-in events with Roof Above and Walking with Moms in Need.
🤱 Launched onsite 1:1 accompaniment appointments at the MiraVia Outreach Center for expectant and new mothers.
📚 Served 40+ neighbors throughout another successful school year with Learning Help Centers of Charlotte through blood pressure checks and individualized support.
💜 Given more than 400 volunteer hours across all of our programs and events.

Every conversation, every appointment, every heartbeat, and every hour represents a neighbor who was seen, heard, and cared for.

Thank you for walking alongside us as we continue to advocate, navigate, and educate with the love of Christ. Here's to an even stronger second half of 2026! ✨
