Our mission is to enhance the lives of adults and children living with epilepsy and seizure disorders in underserved communities by helping them succeed in reaching their educational and professional goals.

Getting to care should not depend on whether you can get a ride.

Through our Epilepsy Equity program, we work with local clinics and community partners across North Carolina and South Carolina to help underserved people living with epilepsy access transportation vouchers, medication-access assistance, mental-health referrals, care coordination, and peer-support groups.

These partnerships help us reach an estimated 250 participants each year and work toward fewer missed appointments and fewer interruptions in treatment.
