July’s Summer Hang Out was a trip to see Moana! 🌊🌺 The girls came with high expectations, and it’s safe to say the live version lived up to the excitement. From the laughter to the adventure, it was a day filled with fun, connection, and unforgettable memories.

We have ONE MORE MONTH of Open Enrollment and Summer Hang Outs before our mentorship group sessions begin in September!

A part of our mentorship model is providing both group mentorship experiences and meaningful 1:1 mentor connections. This weekend, one of our mentors had the opportunity to spend intentional time with her mentee through an ice cream date and a trip to the library. During their time together, they also shared a special moment discussing the purchase of a piece of art that held significant meaning to our mentee.

Moments like these are what mentorship is all about — creating safe spaces, building genuine relationships, and helping young girls feel seen, heard, and valued. Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” We are grateful for the impact these connections continue to make.

✨ OPEN ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN ✨
Salisbury, NC — We are excited to welcome new mentees into One on One Mentoring & Empowerment, Inc. 💜

Our girls mentorship program is designed to help young girls grow in confidence, character, leadership, and emotional wellness through intentional mentorship, community, and consistent support.

Some signs a young girl may benefit from mentorship include:
• Low confidence or self-esteem
• Difficulty making friends
• Feeling isolated or misunderstood
• Navigating life transitions or family changes
• Struggling to express emotions or believe in herself

This is more than a program, it’s a journey of growth. Our mentors are committed to walking alongside each mentee with guidance, encouragement, and intentional support.

📍Sessions will be held on the 1st Saturday of each month through September as we welcome newly enrolled mentees during the summer season. Beginning in September, sessions will resume on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.

The program is free — the investment is your commitment, participation, and consistency. 🌱
