What a beautiful gift it is to be part of the family of God, to have our names in The Book of Life. ✝️🙏🏼

Every person in these photos has a story.

A story of battles fought, prayers prayed, tears cried, lessons learned, and victories won through the grace of God. These are not just faces in a crowd. They are beloved sons and daughters of the King, each carrying a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

When I look at these photos, I see the goodness of God on display. I see fellowship. I see worship. I see people loving one another as Christ loved us. I see lives that have been touched by the saving power of Jesus Christ.

“See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are!” — 1 John 3:1

What an honor it is to gather together, worship together, pray together, laugh together, and walk alongside one another as we pursue Christ. This life we live is not one we earned—it is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus on the cross.

Every changed life is a miracle.
Every testimony is evidence that God is still moving.
Every act of love, service, forgiveness, and surrender points back to Him.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” — Revelation 12:11

At Recovery Church Queen City, we are grateful for every person God brings through the doors. We celebrate what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will continue to do. We know that apart from Him we can do nothing, but through Him all things are possible.

Today, we give Him all the glory.

For the freedom.
For the healing.
For the restoration.
For the friendships.
For the fellowship.
For the gift of salvation.

May we never lose our wonder at what God can do with a surrendered life.

To God be the glory, great things He has done. 🙌

“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together… but encouraging one another.” — Hebrews 10:24-25

What a day at Hope City Jam ✝️

Recovery Church Queen City would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every sponsor, volunteer, vendor, ministry, treatment provider, recovery residence, church, speaker, musician, prayer team member, and community supporter who helped make the inaugural Hope City Jam possible.

Today was more than just an event. It was a visible reminder that recovery is alive, hope is real, and no one has to walk this journey alone.

We watched people connect with resources, receive prayer, share their stories, listen to music, encourage one another, and experience what happens when a community comes together around a common purpose: bringing hope to those affected by substance use, mental health challenges, and life’s hardships.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

At Recovery Church Queen City, we believe recovery is about much more than abstinence. It’s about transformation. We believe the principles found in the 12 Steps ultimately point us toward the One who has the power to truly change lives—Jesus Christ.

Recovery Church exists as a safe place where people from all walks of life can come together, worship God, hear the Gospel, find community, and experience grace without judgment. We embrace the spiritual principles of recovery while boldly proclaiming the hope found in Christ alone.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Whether you have one day sober, twenty years sober, are struggling with addiction, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for a place to belong, there is a seat for you.

The beauty of today was seeing people from different churches, treatment centers, recovery homes, organizations, and backgrounds united by one message:

There is hope. There is healing. There is freedom.

Thank you to everyone who invested their time, talents, resources, and hearts into this event. The seeds planted today will continue to bear fruit for years to come.
