TWO MONTHS. COUNTLESS STEPS FORWARD.

Our August–September 2026 edition of THE MOVEMENT is here, and we're excited to share what our community has accomplished!

At Just Do It Movement, Inc., our mission is rooted in meeting people where they are and helping them overcome barriers to stability, independence, and opportunity.

Throughout August and September, our team continued providing identification assistance, housing support, case management, financial literacy education, and community resources to neighbors throughout Charlotte.

A few highlights from our latest impact update:

• 237 identification services provided year-to-date
• 58 individuals housed year-to-date
• 221 community members served through our August Back 2 School initiative

From helping neighbors access essential identification documents to supporting families and preparing students for a successful school year, every milestone reflects the power of community collaboration.

We're also looking ahead to our Breaking Bread Annual Gala on November 7 and GivingTuesday on December 1, two opportunities to continue building community and creating meaningful impact.

The mission is on the move!

Something exciting is coming to Charlotte!

Just Do It Movement, Inc. is preparing to bring identification assistance closer to the neighbors who need it through our new Identification Ambulance — a mobile office designed to help remove barriers to essential documents.

From identification cards and driver's licenses to birth certificates and Social Security cards, our mission is to help individuals navigate the processes that can open doors to employment, housing, and greater stability.

This mobile office represents another step toward making essential services more accessible and meeting our neighbors where they are.

We're excited to share this next chapter with our community.

Hosted by Just Do It Movement, Inc., the Breaking Bread Annual Gala is more than a celebration. It's an opportunity to recognize neighbors who have persevered through some of life's most challenging circumstances and celebrate the progress they've made toward brighter futures.

🪪❤️ Getting an ID isn't always as simple as walking in and filling out an application.

For some of the neighbors we serve, the identification process can involve complicated requirements, missing documents, unexpected barriers, and situations where advocacy can make a difference.

That's where Just Do It Movement, Inc. comes in.
Our identification services help individuals navigate the process of obtaining vital documents. We help them understand requirements, work through barriers, and advocate alongside them when needed.

In this moment, our team was doing exactly that—helping a neighbor navigate the process and advocating so they could move one step closer to receiving their identification. 🪪

Why does it matter? Because having proper identification can be essential for accessing opportunities and resources such as employment, housing, healthcare, benefits, and more.

This is what the work looks like—meeting people where they are and helping remove barriers one step at a time. ❤️
