TFFT recently held a Planning for the Future session with our Form Six graduates. Scholars explored university life, reflected on their career aspirations, and discussed the trends shaping today’s labor market. Through personality and talent discovery assessments, they gained a deeper understanding of their strengths and potential career pathways: covering everything from 21st-century competencies to goal setting and choosing the right academic programs. At the end of the session, we celebrated with cake, honoring the completion of their journey with the Scholarship Program and recognizing their outstanding performance in their Form Six NECTA examinations. TFFT recently held another round of teacher training in Longido District Council under the Mwanzo Sahihi Project – focused professional development in Reading, Writing, and Numeracy. Teachers shared classroom experiences, explored best practices, and dug into key challenges identified during school visits: group work, early grade literacy, phonemic awareness, sound recognition, and decoding. From group formation to interactive reading strategies, participants left with practical tools to apply right away.

TFFT’s Lifelong Learning Youth Camp welcomed 61 scholars for four days of growth, connection, and fun. Through our partnership with Room to Read, scholars explored leadership, resilience, decision-making, critical thinking, and collaboration, alongside sessions on Career Guidance, Financial Literacy, Finding Your Glow, and more. Movie nights, a talent show, and sports rounded out an unforgettable four days. Thank you to everyone who made it possible.
