Empowering connections were made on a beautiful evening with compassionate women who generously gave their time and support to others, as Hestia Women's Giving Circle awarded a $2000.00 grant to Kiwanis of Charlevoix Youth Foundation's Dolly Parton Imagination Library, thanks to Dee Vincent's thoughtful grant writing.

Kudos to Girl Scout Madi Jillson for sharing her experiences in Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore To Shore🩷 A highlight was her selection to serve on Mackinac Island playing a role in the historic flag ceremonies. We enjoyed meeting Madi and her mom and hearing about the activities that earned her various badges. Good job Madi!

Our scholarship chair Anne Stanley, emotionally read portions of the essay’s that were chosen to receive a $1000.00 Kiwanis Scholarship. Heartfelt essays about treating others with kindness. Winners are Joe Gaffney,Brody Horrigan and Benjamin Schultz.
