We are the "Petunia People". Keep Charlevoix Beautiful is responsible for the funding, planting, and maintenance for the 5 miles of petunias lining the streets of Charlevoix (over 65,000 petunias), as well as the 88 hanging baskets throughout downtown Charlevoix and the city marina.

UPDATE: FIRST DELIVERY AT 10:30!
Hello Charlevoix, we have great news! The new petunias will be arriving on Thursday morning! We are looking for volunteers to help us unload the flowers, prepare the baskets, and deliver them all over town. The petunias are a huge part of our community, and we really appreciate anyone who can be there to help! If you are able to help, please join us in Bridge Park as we get ready for summer and keeping Charlevoix Beautiful.

It may be heading into winter season, but we are still thinking about Petunia’s and Keeping Charlevoix Beautiful. For the first time ever we are running a Christmas Sale for sponsoring petunia baskets & plaques. Each plaque comes with a custom engraving of your choosing(memorial/pets/happy saying for CHX), and can be changed/modified upon your request over time. *for a small additional fee*

The petunia plaques offered on sale are on the north and south side of town (North of Dixon St., South of Hurlbut St.) and are normally $750 per basket, but we are offering them for $600 until January 1st. The locations are maintained every year by our great watering crew! Currently we have about 100 locations still available!

We would like to thank everyone for another great season of Petunias! We have had so many volunteers this year to help us out and it means a lot. We would also like to send a special thank you to Bo & Sherry Boss, as they watered the flowers for over 100 days and they were magnificent! Thank you all for helping us Keep Charlevoix Beautiful!

We are very excited for another beautiful summer in Charlevoix, and it will again be full of petunias! The watering tanks are getting prepared and ready to take care of the flowers this summer. The hanging baskets will be delivered here on Wednesday!

We are looking for any volunteers that can help put the baskets up on Wednesday May, 29. If you are available please contact KCB President Bo Boss at 231-881-0149

After a long winter season, we are getting ready for another great summer of Petunias! We still have memorial plaques available for sale with great locations. It's been a great summer and the petunias are still looking beautiful! We would like to thank Bo Boss and Jeff Mattack who have watered and cared for the petunias all summer long. The recent storms have been tough on the flowers but they are still going out every morning to care for them.

We would also like to give a big shout out and thank you to Mike Fagan and Chief Cart for supplying new golf carts this summer for us to use. They have made the watering in town much easier and we really appreciate all of your help!

Our yearly donation letter was recently sent out, and we will be putting new donations towards the purchase of these great golf carts.

We couldn't have asked for better weather this summer and the petunias are absolutely gorgeous! This is the perfect time to enjoy the beautiful flowers as you are passing through Charlevoix!

It's been a great start to the summer and the petunias are looking gorgeous downtown! We would like to thank all of our volunteers and everyone who has helped make this project successful for another year. We would also like to give a special shout out to Pearsall Construction, Inc. and the Beaver Island Boat Company. Their partnership with Keep Charlevoix Beautiful and generous donation of equipment to hang the baskets has helped us in immeasurable ways. Please consider Pearsall Construction in your future building endeavors. We hope you all enjoy the beautiful flowers this summer!
