The Drawbridge Uke Band is an eclectic group of fun-loving folks who enjoy playing ukulele and singing along. Our mission is to spread the fun of playing the ukulele to as many people as possible.

It’s been a long while since I updated my songbook (life gets in the way of even a mostly retired guy). Anywhoo- it’s updated with 5 added songs and I will be putting those new videos on YouTube and then sharing those one at a time on Facebook- hopefully starting Saturday (7/11/26). Until then you can get the songbook over on the song sheet page at https://www.ukesterbrown.com and while you’re there explore the site… I bet you say, “Hey, I didn’t know he had these on here!”
And it’s free.

Don’t miss out on a great week of music and friends.

Here’s what a day at Buckwheat Music Camp looks like:

Coffee in the morning, classes from 9:30–12:10, lunch and a little time to relax, more classes from 2:00–4:40, a specialty session at 5:00, dinner together, and evening activities that range from performances to song circles and jams. Then you get up and do it all again—with new tunes, new friends, and a little more confidence each day.

Registration is still open, and if you’d like a camp T‑shirt included with your packet, please sign up by June 8.

Looking to make music all day without worrying about what to eat? At Buckwheat Music Camp, your meals are included so you can stay focused on the music and the community.

Who: Campers who want a relaxed, all-inclusive experience where food, music, and friendship are all part of the same week.

What: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided on-site, giving you time to connect with instructors and fellow campers around the table as well as in class and jam sessions.

When: Monday, June 22 – Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Where: The Osceola County Fairgrounds in Evart, MI (home of the Evart Funfest and a favorite gathering place for traditional musicians).

Why: To take the stress out of planning and packing food so you can enjoy a full week of learning, jamming, and connecting with people who love the same music you do.
