Huge thank you to the staff and members of 4Front Credit Union Charlevoix for absolutely maxing out their Toys for Tots collection box! 🎁

This is what investing locally really looks like, neighbors showing up for neighbors, and a workplace culture that puts people first. From staff who encouraged giving to members who followed through, 4Front truly helped turn generosity into action for Charlevoix kids this season and we’re so grateful for partners like them, where service, trust, and community aren’t just words on a wall; they’re practiced every day.

Also, consider this a friendly reminder for anyone still looking to give: our Toys for Tots drive runs through the end of the year, and there’s still time to make a difference. 🎄

Hi, Sam here, popping in to give a well deserved volunteer spotlight to Mel. Many of you recognize her name because she’s the one behind so many of our Toys for Tots posts, keeping everyone informed and connected. Mel puts in a ton of time with Toys for Tots and also helps bridge things with the Christmas Project so toys get where they need to go, especially during the busiest part of the season. She does a lot behind the scenes that people don’t always see.

We’re really lucky to have her on our team and so grateful for the care she brings to this work. Please join me in saying thank you to Mel for helping our community take care of its kids.

And just a reminder: Our toys for tots collection runs through the end of December. Please consider stopping by any of our collection sites around town and leaving a gift or two for local kids and families in need. Every donation truly makes a difference.

Hi, neighbors, this holiday season Charlevoix Auto truly went the extra mile for local kids by hosting 3 Toys for Tots collection boxes at their dealership (they definitely did not sit idle)! Thanks to their team and their generous customers, those boxes put gifts under the tree that will bring happiness to children right here in our community.

We’re incredibly grateful to businesses like Charlevoix Auto who understand that showing up matters, that community care isn’t just something you talk about, it’s something you put in motion. Your willingness to open your doors, make room, and invite generosity made a meaningful difference for families this season.

This morning we’re waking up with deep gratitude for Bridge Street Tap Room for absolutely stacking their Toys for Tots collection box this season. 🎁 This is their largest collection to date, with thoughtful, high-quality gifts for kids of all ages, and that kind of generosity doesn’t happen by accident.

What we love most is that they’re not done yet. The Tap Room is keeping their box out through the end of December so it can be filled again, giving our community even more chances to show up for local kids.

If you’re stopping in for a meal, a drink, or to catch the game, consider bringing a donation with you. And as always, please don’t forget our teens; gift cards, headphones, art supplies, games, and cool tech items make a big difference for them.

Bridge Street Tap Room continues to be exactly what it’s known for: a welcoming local spot that shows up when it matters. We’re incredibly grateful, and excited to see that box filled again. 💙🎄Thank you! Thank you!

A sincere thank you also goes to Ricks McClure Chiropractic for creating such a beautiful holiday scene in their waiting room this year. Their tree is surrounded by an incredible collection of toys for local kids, and it’s clear how much intention and generosity they put into supporting our Toys for Tots program.

Thank you to Ga Ga for Kids for their incredible support again this year. Yesterday, we picked up a heaping pile of beautiful, high-quality, one-of-a-kind gifts from their toy drive, and their box is still going strong. They’ll continue hosting this Toys for Tots collection site through December, and we’re so grateful for the generosity they show our community.

She’s the kind of neighbor who shows up in any weather (even a full Charlevoix snowstorm) to make sure toys get where they need to go. A big thank-you to Bridge Street Tap Room for once again stepping up for Charlevoix Toys for Tots and doing it with true Tap Room flair. If you haven’t seen Molly popping out of their empty toy box asking for help… it’s worth the watch!

The Tap Room is one of those places that makes Charlevoix feel like home: great food, good beer, friendly staff, and that cozy local vibe with all the black and white photos we love. 🖤 🤍

On what would have been his 124th birthday, we celebrate the incredible legacy of Walt Disney — the man behind the magic and one of the earliest champions of our mission.

Walt Disney wasn’t just a creative genius; he was also a dedicated supporter of the Toys for Tots Program. As a close friend of our founder, Maj Bill Hendricks, USMCR, Walt played a pivotal role in shaping our identity — even designing our beloved three-car train logo, which still represents hope and joy to this day.🚂❤️🎄🎁

The Northern Michigan Marine Corps League Detachment #690 is proud to be raffling off some great prizes to support our local trade school and community college scholarships, because while Marines may be known for storming beaches, we’re just as committed to building futures. 🫡

Prizes:

2️⃣ Marlin Mod 336 cal 30-30
3️⃣ Peak Prime Green Mountain Smoker
4️⃣ $100 Meat Monkey Meat Bundle (because Marines don’t mess around when it comes to chow)

Tickets are $10/each or $20 for 3 (Marines know a good deal when they see one). A drawing will be held at the Marine Corps Ball, November 7, 2025 at the Perry Hotel in Petoskey. Need not be present to win.
