Trees for Southern Indiana will be giving away tree seedlings at the Charlestown Farmers Market on Wed. May 6!

We will have: White Pine, Eastern Red Cedar, Black Cherry, Bur and Chestnut Oaks in containers, as well as Northern Pecan and Bald Cypress as bare-root seedlings.

Trees for Southern Indiana will be giving away free tree seedlings at the Charlestown Farmers Market on Wednesday, September 24! from 3-6pm.

We’ll have the following tree seedlings available:
• Bald Cypress
• Black Walnut
• Burr Oak
• Chestnut Oak
• Chinquapin Oak
• Eastern Red Cedar
• Northern Catalpa
• Red Oak
• Shagbark Hickory
• Silky Dogwood (shrub)
• Silver Maple
• White Pine
All seedlings are free, but donations are accepted to continue our work.

Trees for Southern Indiana will once again be at the Jeffersonville farmers market on September 27th, 9am-noon to give away free tree seedlings. Many of the seedlings were provided from the Indiana Forestry Department courtesy of Representative Wendy Dant Chesser. Stay tuned for more details!
