☀️That’s a wrap on an amazing summer at camp! ☀️

We ended our last week with all the camp favorites—tons of fun, laughter, memories, and of course, a camp-wide water balloon fight! 🎈💦 Nothing says summer like getting soaked and having the best time with friends!

Our final day was filled with smiles, hugs, and those bittersweet goodbyes as we wrapped up another incredible camp season. ❤️

Until next summer, campers! 🌈☀️ We’ll miss you! 💛

Our campers had a blast on their Jurassic Journey, filled with dinosaur adventures, discoveries, and hands-on fun! 🦕 We also welcomed the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center for a special visit that brought even more opportunities to explore and learn about the natural world. 🌲💚

Olympics Week has officially begun at Camp Watchaug! 🌍 Each group is representing a different country (and a few fun lands along the way 😉) as they compete in challenges, teamwork events, and camp spirit all week long.

Rain couldn’t stop the fun this week at Camp! Our campers embraced every day with smiles, creativity, and plenty of unforgettable indoor adventures until the sunshine finally returned. We wrapped up the week with an incredible Talent Show, where confidence, creativity, and teamwork took center stage. What a perfect ending to an unforgettable week! 🎭✨

🏝️ The tribe has spoken... 🔥

It was Survivor Week at camp, and our counselors fully embraced the challenge! From alliances and immunity challenges to dramatic vote-offs, this week was one of the best yet! Shoutout to everyone who got voted off along the way—you put up a great fight! Better luck next Tribal Council. 😉

A huge congratulations to Jason and Wilbur for outlasting, outplaying, and out-surviving the competition to become our Sole Survivors! 🏆🌴

What a fantastic way to end the week at camp!🎪

Our campers spent the week designing and building their own carnival games with the help of their counselors, and today they enjoyed our annual Penny Carnival. Campers got to partake in playing the games they worked so hard to create all while raising money for our camp scholarship fund!

A special thank you to Del's Lemonade for stopping by and giving our campers and staff the opportunity to enjoy their delicious frozen lemonade while celebrating an amazing week! 🍋❤️

Not even blistering temperatures could stop our campers from bringing their A-game to Color Wars 2026! 🎉

Fierce competitions held on both the field and waterfront, tribes searched high and low for hidden ducks to cash in for points, and all of it culminated in an epic chalk-filled Color Run for the ages! It was great to see both campers and staff having an absolute blast while beating the heat!

What an incredible first week of camp! 🎉☀️

Our campers kicked off the summer with nonstop fun, adventure, and creativity! From soaring high on the Giant Swing to creating amazing arts & crafts masterpieces and enjoying exciting field games, every day was filled with smiles, laughter, and new friendships.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store. Here’s to many more unforgettable camp memories! 💙🏕️🌟
