🍁 Toddler Art Time was FULL of fall fun today at Charlestown Ensembles! 🍂

We started with Mouse’s First Fall and then got right to creating!

🎨 We experimented with salt art, watching the colors spread and blend across our fall leaves.
🎃 Then we squished, smooshed, rolled and decorated foam clay mosaic pumpkins with buttons, beads and all kinds of little treasures.

And yes… things got a little messy. Around here, that means we’re doing it right. 😂

Toddler art isn’t about making something “perfect.” It’s about exploring new materials, working those little hands, making choices and discovering what happens when we create. ❤️

Want to come make a mess with us? Join us for our next Toddler Art Time at Charlestown Ensembles! It’s a fun, low-pressure way to introduce your little one to art—and the best part? We make the mess AND clean it up. 🙌🎨

Come try a class with us! 🍁❤️

Middle/High school Homeschool Art class is “stepping” into drawing skills by focusing on shoes 👟
Breaking down objects visually into their basic geometric shapes helps with proportions & making a 3D object translate to a 2D drawing. Today we sketched in 2 minute limits & began creating Value Scales. Sketches prepare an artist for drawing which is a lengthier commitment & value scales help with processing light to dark which creates a drawing with depth. What a great group of artist we have!! Thankful to get to nurture their abilities 😃

Our Elementary Homeschool Art students with Amy Kristin Carroll are exploring shapes & forms, 2D & 3D, How to draw & today how to build a 5 sided pyramid, 4 equal triangles & a square base.
Great work & we had some fun jokes being shared too 😃

🍂🎨 Toddler Art Time was FULL of fall color today! 🎨🍁

Today at Charlestown Ensembles, our little artists explored all the colors of fall! We started by reading a book about the beautiful colors we see as the seasons change, then got busy creating. 💛🧡❤️

We made our own fall trees using toilet paper rolls as leaf stamps (because some of the best art supplies are hiding in your recycling bin 😂), and experimented with real leaves to make colorful prints and textures. 🍃🎨

I love watching these kiddos explore art without worrying about making something “perfect.” They’re learning about colors and textures, practicing those little fine-motor skills, trying new art supplies, and—most importantly—having FUN creating!

And yes…we make the mess, so you don’t have to. 😉🙌

🍁 It’s not too late to join us this session! If you’ve been wondering whether Toddler Art Time would be a good fit for your little artist, come try out our next class at Charlestown Ensembles. We’d love to create with you! 💜
