Bread + Butter serves as an umbrella organization to help Charleston address its staffing shortage by working with these culinary training programs to provide the resources they desperately need. We also serve as a resource to connect area restaurants with local nonprofits. Whether they are looking for a service opportunity for their staff, a nonprofit partner for an event, or have food in need of rescue for donation, Bread + Butter helps make the connections needed. We also directly address the staffing shortage, by screening and placing qualified hospitality workers in positions.

GOALS


  • Eliminate the hospitality staff shortage in Charleston by helping organizations place trained, screened workers in jobs

  • Connect the hospitality community with organizations in need and make it easy for them to contribute to ongoing charitable initiatives
