Please nominate yourself or another NYSCamp Alumnus or Staph to the Board of the National Youth Science Camp Alumni Association (NYSCAA)! Nominations are open until July 31, 2025.

We seek your ideas and advice. Board members meet once a month for a 1-hour Zoom meeting, plus a short committee meeting. Service on the NYSCAA Board is more fun than work. The NYSCAA is different than the NYSAcademy Board of Trustees.

The NYSCAA focuses on professional networking and social events, such as organizing reunions. You could also choose to help with alumni online lectures, game nights, postcard exchanges, or social media.

We seek nominees for:
(1) President-Elect (serve September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026, then as President the following term)
(2) Secretary (serve September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026)
(3) Treasurer (serve September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026)
(4) Two open positions for Board of Advisor Member, 3-year term (serve September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2028)

Mark your calendars from June 20 to 26 for NYSCAA's West Virginia Day Membership Drive! This is a great opportunity to support the NYSCamp Alumni Community.

Your dues and donations play a crucial role in providing scholarships, funding reunions, the Collaboratory, programming, and supporting the NYSCamp. This West Virginia Day we are aiming to fundraise $5,000 to continue the work of the NYSCAA. We rely on the generous support of our alumni to make this happen.

In honor of West Virginia Day, all dues and donations made from June 20th through the 26th will receive their choice of a sticker (3"dia.), magnet (3"dia.), or bookmark (3"x6") with the logo below featuring the WV state flower: the rhododendron.

Together, we can inspire and empower our alumni network to continue their love for science and strengthen our community. Join us in making a difference!
