And the winner of the Americana window decorating contest is.... 🎉🇺🇸

A closer look at Dumas & Sons’ winning display tells a story that goes far beyond the window itself. The patches that form the American flag are the original patches Dumas once used to make uniforms for several local businesses, and the Dickies jumpsuit is part of that same history. The collection of hats represent the many roles Dumas has dressed since 1917 and the generations of Charleston men they have outfitted along the way.

Thank you to all of the businesses that participated in this year’s storefront decorating contest and helped bring so much creativity and Americana spirit to King Street this season.

Be sure to take a stroll downtown and check out all of the participating windows while they are still up this summer.

Spoleto Festival USA is almost here, and one of the best seasons in Charleston is about to begin. 🎭✨

From May 22 through June 7, the city comes alive with performances, art, music, dinners, pop-ups, and special events happening on and around King Street. There is always something to discover during Spoleto season, whether you are heading to a show, making a night of it downtown, or simply soaking in the energy around the district.
