🌱 Planning to Bring Soil Samples to the Clemson Extension TEACH Center? 🌱

✅ Enter through the Citadel Mall interior — the TEACH Center is located inside the mall in the Belk wing.

❌ Please do NOT use the back door to drop off soil samples.

✅ You may use the soil sample dropbox inside the mall for quick and easy drop-off.

✅ If you would like assistance from a Master Gardener volunteer, please call ahead so we can be ready to help you at 843-730-5205.

Vision loss from diabetes is often preventable—and learning how is the first step. Join us on March 5th at 12:30 pm at the Clemson TEACH Center for Keeping Your Eyes Healthy, a 1-hour, FREE community education program to help you take charge of your eye health and spread awareness about diabetes-related vision loss.
This training is open to everyone who wants to make a difference—for themselves and their community.

Stay safe & warm!!

Going outside in the low temperatures? Stay safe and warm by dressing for the cold weather.
❄ Wear gloves, hats, ear muffs, and scarves to cover any exposed skin.
❄ Layer thin, warm layers underneath your bulky outer layers. This includes layering bottoms and tops.
❄ Cover your head, as hats help keep heat in and keep you warm.
❄ Wear water-proof shoes and thick socks to keep your feet dry.

We are hiring for our 4-H Agent!

Attn: Jasper County High School Students

The MyPlate Ambassador program is a partnership effort between AgriLife Extension, The Advancing Health Through Agriculture Institute and Texas Department of Agriculture. The project is funded through the USDA Team Nutrition program.

To qualify to be a MyPlate Ambassador, youth must be high school age (grades 9-12), apply and be selected for the program.

MyPlate Ambassadors will work alongside county Extension agents, school leaders, and community partners to deliver nutrition education to young students, advocate for healthy lifestyles, and encourage environmental changes in schools and communities so health becomes the easy choice. In addition, they will become official members of 4-H in your county.
