Patwork
Patchwork, licensed by the State of West Virginia is a runaway and homeless shelter for youth ages 12+ and offers crisis support services. Visit the Patwork Shelter page by clicking https://www.facebook.com/patchwork.shelter

New Connections
The Education Program accepts any youth ages 17 – 21 who is interested in studying with the full-time Educat

or. Students also receive free food, training in life skills, help in obtaining employment, and case management. New Connections also has an Independent Living Program with five on-site apartments for youth ages 16 – 21. Turning Point
Turning Point accepts male and female youth, ages 15 – 19 in the custody of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. Youth work towards independence, moving through a four phase system where they earn increased freedom with increased responsibility.

Just in time for back to school the Communication Workers of America West Virginia 213 Local 2001 showed up with backpacks and luggage. Most of our kiddos will be starting school in a few weeks and some of them are even preparing for moving into dorms in Huntington and Morgantown!! Look at the colorful little fold up backpacks donated by the Kanawha County Democrat Women!
