Did you know? It is illegal to remix or use part of the “Star Spangled Banner” as a medley in Massachusetts. Their law states that, "...whoever plays, sings or renders the ''Star Spangled Banner'', or any part thereof, as dance music, as an exit march or as a part of a medley of any kind, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars."

New research from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) shows that 62% of Americans agree: democracy needs to be taught because it is not implicitly learned.

Thanks to ongoing advocacy from our community, civic seals, credentials affixed to a high school diploma certifying demonstrated civic knowledge and skills, have now been adopted across 19 states spanning the political spectrum, reaching nearly half of America’s schoolchildren.
