WVNLA co-sponsors (along with Virginia and Maryland) the annual Mid-Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (MANTS), a nationally recognized event showcasing and facilitating sales of green industry products. 🌿 Know what's taking over your forest - and what to do about it.

WVSU Extension is hosting a free workshop on invasive forest plants on Monday, August 24, and it's open to the public.

📅 Date: Monday, August 24
🕡 Time: 6:30-8:30 PM
📍 Mary Price Ratrie Arboretum at Spring Hill Cemetery

The evening starts with a presentation on identifying common invasive plants and management strategies, followed by a guided walk with resident Certified Arborist Chris Higgins to spot invasive species and review ongoing management projects on site.

Can't make it in person? The lecture will also be available live via Google Meet - register to receive the link.

This workshop is free and registration is required.
