Get your tickets now! 🥂 The Lowcountry Ovarian Cancer Alliance is hosting Cocktails for a Cause on Monday, November 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Harbour Club at WestEdge.

Join us for an evening of cocktails, community, and impact as we come together in the fight against all gynecologic cancers. Your $100 ticket includes an open bar, a specialty cocktail, and hors d'oeuvres, along with a silent auction featuring local artists, experiences, gift baskets, and more.

Every ticket helps LOCA provide education, outreach, and support to women and families across the Lowcountry. We'd love to see you there. Tickets are available at the link below.

Hope doesn't always arrive in big moments.

Sometimes it begins with a conversation.

A hug.

A support group.

Many people know us because of ovarian cancer awareness, but our mission extends even further.

Every diagnosis deserves compassion.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and this year we're asking you to do one simple thing: learn the signs. 🩵

Ovarian cancer is often called a "whisper" disease because its early symptoms are easy to dismiss as everyday discomfort. There is currently no reliable screening test for ovarian cancer, and a Pap test does not detect it. That's why knowing your body matters so much.

Talk with your doctor if you notice any of these symptoms lasting more than two to three weeks:
🩵 Persistent bloating
🩵 Pelvic or abdominal pain
🩵 Feeling full quickly or having trouble eating
🩵 Urgent or frequent need to urinate

Knowing your family history matters too. If ovarian, breast, or other related cancers run in your family, ask your provider whether genetic counseling is right for you.
You know your body best. If something doesn't feel right, trust that instinct and speak up. 💙
