Program Director Charleston Child Care and Learning Center
Charleston Child Care and Learning Center, a nonprofit Type III child care center located in Charleston, WV, and operated by Schoenbaum Family Enrichment Center, Inc., is seeking a permanent full-time Program Director. Person in this position is responsible for daily operations of the child care center and managing its resources (staff, financial, and physical site). Person maintains client enrollment, parent relations, quality curriculum at Tier II or higher; and community and public awareness about the program. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; ability to develop content for print publications, website, and social media are an asset.
Only qualified candidates will be considered. Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in Early Education and two years’ experience as a Director or a Bachelors Degree in related field or early childhood education and one year’s experience as an Associate Director. WV STARS Career Pathway Level at Level VI or higher is required to interview for this position. Annual salary plus incentives are being offered with sign on bonus to match experience.
