📥 Now acceptiong submissions! Many outside filmmakers may have negative preconceptions about West Virginia.

Our mission is to bring q***r films and filmmakers to the beautiful state of West Virginia, break down stereotypes and broaden minds throughout Appalachia. Our hope is that filmmakers will use this unique opportunity to connect with other filmmakers, show their work to an audience who otherwise go unnoticed, and develop an appreciation and respect for the people, culture, and landscape of this his

toric region. We want to show these outsiders the beauty of our region and its people. On the other hand, many Appalachians may have little exposure to q***r films or filmmakers. For them, we want to break down any negative preconceptions or stereotypes by introducing them to fascinating q***r artists and films and providing the opportunity for them to be moved by their work.
