***URGENT***EMERGENCY****

I'm ashamed to be posting this. I was able to cover the motel until tomorrow morning. We lose the room tomorrow morning at 11. We just need until Friday, possibly Thursday. Then we'll sort of be okay. We just need a little help. We've been fighting the VA over my husband's disability claim. This has been an ongoing thing for almost two years. We've been contacting agencies we were told could possibly help with no luck. I'm sitting in the motel room crying right now. I've spent nights not sleeping trying to find resources. I've gone to work exhausted after being up all night trying to find help. We literally have nothing in our bank accounts and maybe have $40 cash between us. We're trying so hard. I'm looking and applying for a second job but it's Charleston and tourist season is ending so I'm not getting many call backs. My husband is working two jobs so he's working 7 days a week. I'm going to put all my money transfer accounts on this post if anyone can help. And if you're not comfortable sending money directly to me you can always call the motel and pay over the phone. We're staying at the North Charleston Lodge on Ashley Phosphate Rd in North Charleston. I'm not comfortable posting the room number. But they know at the front desk. Thank you to the people that have helped! I don't know where me, my husband, and my emotional support cat are going to go tomorrow. My cat Sam is my legally registered emotional support animal. I hate asking for help. At least groceries are cheap. About $25 a week. I go grocery shopping at the Dollar Tree.

***URGENT!!!***

We need help. I should have enough money to pay for the motel room for one more night but After that we're broke. We need $415 to pay for the room until next Friday. Then we both get paid so we'll be in a better situation than right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated! If you want to help but aren't comfortable with sending the money directly to me you can always call the motel and put some money on the room. It's roughly $73 per night if you rent it for one night. It's a little cheaper per night if you reserve multiple nights. The motel is the North Charleston Lodge. The address is 2551 Ashley Phosphate Rd in North Charleston. I really hate to keep asking for help. My husband and I got evicted because we got behind on the rent after he got diagnosed with cancer. He couldn't work for almost a year while he was going through surgery and several rounds of chemo. We got behind on bills. We've been playing catch up for the past year. The landlord tried to work with us but we were just too far behind for too long.

I started a GoFundMe to try to help paying for our motel room. I've gotten some donations but they are taking forever to process. We lose the room tomorrow at 11:00 AM.

I'm trying to keep a roof over our heads. Me, my husband, our cat, and all the rescue turtles.

I really hate to keep asking for help. My husband and I got evicted because we got behind on the rent after he got diagnosed with cancer. He couldn't work for almost a year while he was going through surgery and several rounds of chemo. We got behind on bills. We've been playing catch up for the past year. The landlord tried to work with us but we were just too far behind for too long.

Right now I'm just trying to keep a roof over our heads and make sure the turtles are taken care of to the best of my ability while staying in the motel.

Chrissie here, the creator of this rescue. My husband and I were evicted. We're about to lose the motel room today at 11 AM. My husband got diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and underwent surgery and several rounds of chemo. He was just too sick during this time to work so we got behind on the bills. We're still playing catch up but the landlord couldn't give us any more time. If any of you can help that would be greatly appreciated! Every little bit helps? My kitten Samhain Frankenfurter Moo Blackman has decided my turtles are hers. The box turtle is Ra, the wild eastern box turtle that got hit by a car. Sam loves him.
