Great evening on the water with Wounded Nature–Working Veterans, getting a firsthand look at several of the next major debris-removal projects along our Charleston waterways.
President Rudy Socha, along with board member Ramm Majji , took several guests on a tour to show areas where old structures, marine debris and other hazards still need to be removed.
This is exactly where Wounded Nature makes a difference tackling difficult-to-access coastal areas that often get overlooked. The organization has already removed 300+ derelict vessels and 87 dumpsters of debris, while continuing coastal cleanups and habitat restoration. (woundednature.org)
There is still a lot of work ahead. Seeing these pending projects from the water makes the mission very real.
Protect the waterways. Restore the habitat. Get the debris out. 🇺🇸🌊
