There is an effort to preserve the New River Wilderness. Take a look at this information. There are opportunities to be a part of this effort.

In just 20 days, the future of the 2,770-acre New River Wilderness will be decided at auction. Will you join us in helping protect this extraordinary landscape forever?

Breaking news... There is a proposed Amendment to Senate Bill 140 that will revoke the Roadless Area Rule. WV Senator Jim Justice is on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee that will vote tomorrow.

Please call Senator Justice's office TODAY at (202) 224-3954, and say:

"My name is _____ and I'm calling from _____. I am calling to ask Senator Justice to vote no on any amendments to the Wildfire Prevention Act (S 140) that would repeal the 2001 Roadless Rule. Repealing the roadless rule will not help fight wildfire - and it will harm the Mon National Forest that I love."

Be polite, don't argue - but let your elected officials know where you stand!
