Our club has a long-standing history in the local community, having originally founded Charleston's Kiwanis Park and other charitable causes. Unfortu

nately, in the 1990's due to a decrease in new membership, the club dissolved. In 2014, it was re-established by a small, but dedicated, group of local individuals who hope to make their own, lasting contributions to the community. We strive to help children in the community through our service projects and by engaging in fundraising efforts. Several of our members are "corporate members" who have joined the club on behalf of the businesses for whom they work. In other words, if that individual were to leave his/her job or no longer be able to attend meetings, the business could assign a new individual in his/her place. In addition to corporate members, we have other individuals who have joined the club due to their commitment to the local community. Guests and prospective members are always welcome to stop by our meetings to learn more about our club. We'd love for you to join, but don't worry - we won't pressure you.
