Rea of Hope, Inc. Rea of Hope is here to help West Virginia women suffering from alcohol and/or drug addiction.

Any woman expressing a sincere desire to stay "Clean and Sober" may be eligible for admission for placement in the home. Each individual must meet certain requirements before being accepted as a resident.

*Must be female age 18 or older
*Must be clean and sober for a minimum of 30 days
*Must have a primary diagnosis of alcohol and/or chemical dependency
*Must have a desire to recover
*Complete

d an inpatient or outpatient treatment program recently
*Agree to stay in the residence a minimum of 6 months
*Agree to sign releases of information for medical, legal, and mental health histories.
*Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and agree to random drug screen testing
*Must attend a minimum of five 12- step meetings weekly and obtain a sponsor
*No acute medical psychiatric problems
*Have an ability to maintain self-care and participate in job functions for the maintenance of the facility, i.e. cooking and general cleaning
*Must work full time, be enrolled in school full-time, or a combination of both
*Must contribute $95 per week for room and board
*Commit to total abstinence from drugs and alcohol
*Respect the rights, views, and property of other residents and get along with others

Upon meeting these criteria, an individual can be accepted into the home without regard to race, nationality, disability, or religious background. Referrals are accepted from any organization or agency serving the addicted person. Previous arrangements must have been coordinated between the agency and the referral. The agency must also be responsible for the appropriate information on the candidate. Referrals are accepted if no intoxication has occurred in the previous 30 days and if there is no apparent physical or psychological limitations. In the event the Rea of Hope Fellowship Home is operating at or near capacity; Kanawha, Putnam, Clay, Lincoln, Boone, and Fayette county residents will receive first priority for admission.

This week we celebrated Kayla as she graduates Phase 1 of Rea of Hope! 💜

Kayla’s journey hasn’t always been easy. There were times when the road ahead felt uncertain, and she wasn’t sure she would make it to this moment. But she held on. She kept showing up, kept doing the work, and kept moving forward, even when it was hard.

Throughout her journey, Kayla has remained humble and teachable. She learned to look at each obstacle as a challenge to grow from and each setback as an opportunity for spiritual growth. That kind of transformation doesn’t happen overnight, it happens one choice, one lesson, and one day at a time.

And now, she gets to look back and see just how far she has come. ❤️

Kayla, we are so proud of your perseverance, your willingness to learn, and the woman you are becoming. We are excited to watch you continue this journey into Phase 2, with hope in your heart and a bright future ahead.🎓💜

Good morning friends and family! Help us celebrate our newest graduate, Amber H.! 🎓

Recovery isn't always a straight path, and Amber H.'s journey is a beautiful reminder that perseverance pays off. 💪

Amber experienced her share of ups and downs during her time at Rea of Hope. There were moments when she came close to giving up, but she chose to keep going. That decision has made all the difference. 💙

Today, Amber has not only graduated from our program, but she has also shown that true change is possible. Her transformation has been evident from the inside out, and it has been an honor to watch her grow into the strong, determined woman she is becoming.

Amber has chosen to continue her journey in Phase Two, and we couldn't be prouder of her progress, perseverance, and unwavering motivation to achieve her goals. 🎉

Congratulations to Whitney P. on becoming Rea of Hope's newest graduate! 🎉

Whitney arrived at Rea of Hope motivated, optimistic, and ready to do the work. She quickly secured employment, enrolled in adult education classes, and embraced every opportunity for growth. While balancing self-help meetings, weekly visits with her sons, work, and school, Whitney showed up each day with a smile on her face and a positive attitude.

Always eager to encourage newcomers, lend a helping hand, and support those around her, Whitney became a valued member of our community. Along the way, she achieved one of her biggest goals—earning her GED—and has now set her sights on higher education.

Whitney is continuing her journey in Phase 2 with her boys cheering her on, where we have no doubt she will continue to accomplish great things, one day at a time. We are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved and look forward to watching her future unfold.

Happy Monday friends and supporters! Let us share some smiles with you this morning! 💞
Our ladies recently revisited Itty Bitty Therapy - Horses Bringing Happiness, Hope and Healing to care for and love on these wonderful animals. The folks there were fantastic as always, giving the ladies a hayride, providing a dessert bar, and of course THE PONIES!! 🐴🐎 EEEK!! They brushed them, fixed their hair, walked them through the playground, and bonded with them for a truly magical evening. Another favorite in the books. Thank you so much to all the folks that made this possible. 🥰

Rainy days water dreams! 🌦️🌱 Yesterday we celebrated Mollie W. as she completes Phase 1 of her journey at Rea of Hope! 👩‍🎓

If you've spent any time around Mollie, you've likely seen her trademark smile. No matter what challenges came her way, she continued to show up, put in the work, and keep moving forward. Recovery isn't always easy, but Mollie has proven that determination, consistency, and a positive attitude can carry you through even the toughest days.

She has been a dependable resident, a hard worker, and someone willing to do what recovery requires. Her love for her children and grandson has been a driving force behind her commitment to building a better future, one day at a time.

We're especially excited that Mollie has chosen to continue her journey in Phase 2. With her strong work ethic, willingness to grow, and hope for what's ahead, we have no doubt that her best days are still in front of her.

Congratulations, Mollie! Your Rea of Hope family is proud of you and honored to be part of your story. Keep smiling, keep believing, and keep doing the work—it is paying off. ❤️
