Got old or unused prescriptions? Bring them in and dispose of them safely, no questions asked
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the DEA for National RX Take Back Day this Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Drop off your unused prescriptions between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at all KCSO detachments:
• Elkview – 1078 Main St.
• Sissonville – 6817 ½ Sissonville Dr.
• Quincy – 2700 East Dupont Ave.
• Cross Lanes – 903 Cross Lanes Dr.
• St. Albans – 6809 Ohio Ave.
✅ Accepted: tablets, capsules, patches, other solid meds
🚫 Not accepted: syringes, sharps, illicit drugs
💧 Liquids must remain sealed in original containers
Clean out the medicine cabinet and help keep these drugs out of the wrong hands.
