The DC Peer Community and Community Partners led by The MEDI Community Resource Center (The Medi) are dedicating ***2022 National Recovery Month*** to Honor Jami Freeman and her life's work. Jami has also, been nominated for . The Medi, Jordan Peer Recovery and Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) will be hosting the Annual Jami Freeman Peer-UP DC Symposium beginning September 2022 .

Jami's will be followed by the Full Documentary Screening of 'Tipping The Pain Scale' and a Community Response Panel Discussion at the Historic Howard Theater. We are convening the Peer community to come and show our appreciation for Jami's commitment to service, boundless compassion, and inspiration!
