HEY DAY!!! 👋🏻
HEY Auburn Family!
Auburn's HEY DAY is one of the campus' oldest and most cherished traditions, celebrating unity, friendliness, and the "Auburn's Family" spirit.
Founded in 1947, it was originally created by the Student Government Association (SGA) and students to welcome returning World War II veterans who attended via the G.I. Bill and struggled to feel a sense of belonging to campus.
Core Traditions: Participants wear name tags and say "hey" to everyone they pass - students, faculty, and staff - to break the ice and build community!
Take a moment today to reach out to fellow Auburn Alumni and Auburn Friends to say "HEY" today! It's the Auburn way! Post a photo below so we can enjoy HEY DAY together!
