We’ve been growing Bodhi’s hair out since he finished chemo—over eight years now 💛

Over the weekend, he donated 12 inches of it to help create a wig for another child 💇‍♂️

If you saw Bodhi over the last couple of weeks, you know how excited he was for this haircut - telling everyone how happy he was that he could donate it to another kid 🥹🫶🏽

A full circle moment in the most meaningful way ✨

This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating what YOU have made possible. 💛

When we first began supporting pediatric cancer research- years before The McConnell Foundation even existed- we never could have imagined the impact it would grow into.

Because of your generosity and the partnership with our real estate brokerage, together we have now contributed over $400,000 toward pediatric cancer research at MUSC. The very research that helped lead to the FDA approval of DFMO (IWILFIN), the first drug shown to prevent relapse in a pediatric cancer.

As Dr. Kraveka shared, “This is the first drug approved to prevent relapse for a pediatric cancer. It gives new hope for our patients.”
