🐯 Once numbering in the thousands, the Malayan Tiger population has plummeted to an estimated ~150 left in the wild today.

And the threats keep coming... Recent reports reveal that traffickers are even using fishing boats to smuggle tiger body parts across borders 💔

At Asia Wild, we’re funding anti-poaching patrols and safe sanctuaries, giving vulnerable big cats a chance at survival.

🌏 Together, we can stop wildlife crime before it drives these magnificent cats to extinction.

🦧 Today is International Orangutan Day—a reminder that these gentle forest dwellers are critically endangered.

Did you know Orangutans share 97% of our DNA? Yet in just the past 60 years, their populations have dropped by more than half—driven by deforestation, habitat loss, and the illegal wildlife trade.

💔 Without action, Orangutans could disappear from the wild within our lifetime.

🌏 Together, we can give them a fighting chance.

🐾 When rescuers found Moh, he was just a tiny cub—weak, dehydrated, and struggling to walk. A spinal deformity and untreated infection meant he could never survive in the wild.

🐆 Today, Moh is safe in a sanctuary where he receives expert care, enrichment, and the chance to live with dignity. But for every Moh, there are countless big cats still in danger—caught in snares, displaced by habitat loss, or stolen for the wildlife trade.

💛 Your gift to Asia Wild’s Big Cats Fund helps provide urgent rescues, medical care, and lifetime sanctuary for leopards, tigers, and lions across Asia. Together, we can give them the safety and future they deserve.

🚨 Government grants once used to protect endangered species are now funding research breeding colonies like the one on “Monkey Island,” where over 3,500 monkeys are bred for invasive testing.

This shift in priorities is devastating frontline wildlife rescue groups around the world—many of whom depend on that support to care for tigers, elephants, gibbons, and other animals in urgent need.

🌏 That’s where Asia Wild comes in.

We partner with local, boots-on-the-ground organizations to keep rescue centers running, animals safe, and real conservation work alive. But as grant funding disappears, your support becomes more critical than ever.

💚 $25 = enrichment toys or habitat materials
💚 $100 = emergency vet care for a rescued primate
💚 $500 = replaces lost monthly funding for a sanctuary

Together, we can meet this moment with action—and compassion.

Will we be the generation that let Tigers go extinct? 🐅💔

Three of Asia’s majestic Tigers—Sumatran, Malayan, and South China—are now Critically Endangered.
The South China Tiger may already be gone from the wild.

What’s driving them to the edge?
🚨 Poaching for body parts
🪵 Habitat destroyed by palm oil and logging
🏘️ Rising human-wildlife conflict

But there’s still time—if we act now. Your support fuels real, on-the-ground conservation that can help these cats survive and thrive.

🌱 Rewilding efforts
🛡️ Habitat protection
👣 Conflict prevention

But it’s not too late.
Your action today could help rewrite their story.

🐒 This is Paws, a recently rescued infant Long-tailed Macaque. Paws’ story began with a tiny, desperate cry echoing through the rainforest. Alone, injured, and just weeks old, this fragile Long-Tailed Macaque was found clinging to life with a severe wound, his tiny body wracked with infection.

Without his mother’s warmth and guidance, every bottle, cuddle, and moment of comfort comes from dedicated caregivers who have stepped in to fill the role of the family he lost too soon.

🧡 You can help Paws and other orphaned Macaques like him heal, grow, and one day find their way back to the wild.

Here’s what your support makes possible:
✅ Specialized infant formula and round-the-clock care
✅ Veterinary check-ups to monitor growth and recovery
✅ Medicine and supplements to boost immunity and strength
✅ Safe, enriched spaces for climbing, playing, and socializing

🐻 Did you know Moon Bears make nests in trees?

It’s true! These clever climbers sometimes build “day beds” high in the branches, using leaves and sticks to rest, cool off, and escape ground predators — a rare behavior among Bears! 🌿🛌

Why do they do this? Just like us, they enjoy a cool breeze and a little peace and quiet now and then. 💚

🐆 Meet Rani—an Indian Leopard (Panthera pardus fusca) now living in peace at our partner RESQ Charitable Trust's sanctuary.

Indian Leopards are incredibly adaptable—but habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and poaching are pushing them to the brink.

Rani, estimated to be 16 years old, was rescued after years in captivity. Despite old injuries and chronic health issues, she remains alert, gentle, and deeply bonded to her companion, John.

Thanks to the compassionate care of RESQ Charitable Trust, Rani is thriving—on her own terms.

🖤 Every Leopard deserves a life of respect and care.

Being kind to animals means more than avoiding harm— it’s an act of protection, respect, and empathy. In fact, kindness is one of our most powerful conservation strategies. 🐾💚

Every time we protect a habitat, fight poaching, support ethical tourism, or rescue an animal in need, we turn compassion into action. Because kindness isn’t passive—it’s how we defend wildlife and preserve the wild places they call home.🌏🌿

This month, we’re inviting you to look at conservation through a new lens: empathy. Because every act of compassion helps protect life on Earth.

💬 Tag a friend who cares about animals as much as you do.
Let’s build a community rooted in kindness. 🤝

📣 When Disaster Strikes, Wildlife Can’t Wait.

For many rescued animals, a sanctuary is their second chance. But what happens when floods tear through those safe havens? When earthquakes crack foundations? When storms cut off critical access to food, medicine, and care?

We’ve seen it happen. And when it does, there’s no time to waste.

This isn’t just about emergency response—it’s about protecting everything these animals have already fought to survive.

That’s why we created the Asia Wild Disaster Relief Fund—so our partners on the ground can act immediately when the unthinkable happens.

Your support makes all this possible:
🆘 Emergency evacuations when habitats are destroyed
🩺 Urgent medical care for injured animals
🛠️ Repairs to shelters and critical infrastructure
🍽️ Nutritious food for recovering wildlife
🛡️ Anti-poaching response during crisis events
🌿 Protection of vital habitats and biodiversity
📈 Ongoing conservation efforts—despite funding cuts

Wildlife emergencies move fast. We have to move faster.
Step in now—before the next disaster strikes—and help give these animals a real chance to survive and heal.

🐾 Will you stand with us in this fight to protect them?

💚 Donate if you can. Share if you care. Let’s be the safety net they deserve.

Hunted for their scales and driven from their habitats, all eight species are now at risk of extinction.

A powerful new documentary from Netflix , Pangolin: Kulu’s Journey, sheds light on the harsh reality of the illegal wildlife trade—and the quiet, determined efforts to save these remarkable animals.
