We just had a group of 12 girls successfully complete the Safe Sitters Class at CAMC!!

To celebrate and help some of them get the word out about their babysitting services we will be having a FREE parents’ night out this Friday from 6:00-8:30. This will be a great way for them to practice their new skills and get the word out about their babysitting services.

FSC staff will be here with them as well. We will be in the Lisa Curry Annex building at 12316 MacCorkle Ave in Chesapeake.

Sign-up today by calling or texting 304-410-2362. It will be a fun evening for the kids and great chance for a date night, deep cleaning, or extra nap for parents and caregivers!

This is free but tips for the girls babysitting are welcome.

UPDATE: Due to the weather this group is cancelled for tomorrow and will resume kn February!

Being a parent/caregiver is a tough job…and those teenage years can make it even tougher. They say the weirdest things and the pressures of today don’t compare to when we were in school.

Come join our first Circle of Parents group specifically for parents/caregivers of teenagers. Join us for an informal time to share and support each other in a judgment free zone. The group will meet at Riverside Library every 4th Monday starting 1/26 at 11:00

Come join us as we talk all things winter car seat safety and then for some fun making a no sew car seat poncho for your child that you can use all winter long.
Join us on Thursday, January 22nd in the Chesapeake annex building at 6:00. Light refreshments will be served and kids are welcome as well.
