Charleston, mark your calendar for Giving On Point, happening Oct. 19-23. This year, we’re taking fundraising back to the phones and putting Kids On Point students, board members, and staff members on the other end of the line to call on our community and help raise $500,000 for our programming efforts.
But this is more than a fundraiser: It’s also a classroom. Before students make their first call, they’ll learn how to introduce themselves, tell their story, make an ask, listen, communicate with confidence, handle rejection, celebrate a win, and — perhaps most importantly — keep going. These are real-world skills, and Giving On Point offers our students the chance to put them into practice. And when you pick up, your gift puts even more opportunities within reach. 💙🧡🩵
