Vesta Community Picnic Bringing back the old tradition of when Vestonians would gather one day a year for picnics, horse shoes, softball game and fellowship

How would everyone like to do this ? Saturday 14th .. 11-2. Or Sunday15th 1-3. I know Saturday’s are busy for families .. Sunday is a little slower for some. The weather has been beautiful... hopefully in the middle of the day it’ll be warm enough ..

Lets start with ideas for games... something easy... easy set up and take down.. something for littles and elders... here a few of my ideas ...
/cookie/cake contest = age groups? Afterwards we can auction these off for our community projects...
corn hole for younger / horse shoes for the elders
Farmers Tan Contest ( arms only) :)
pumpkin seed spittin' contest
hog callin' contest ...
pet contest ... any pet.. any size
youngest/oldest Vesta citizen ?
When we decide on a few fun games ... then we can start gathering small prizes.

Hello fellow Vestonians and area sub division residents .... This Cody Sosebee inviting you to share this page and help me get the 2020 Vesta community picnic Page up and going ! If you would like to be added as an administrator or have Vesta history to share ... please let me know... We have lots of interest ... We just need to nail down a date this fall... and make it happen.. please tag the Vesta Elders so they can help us with history and dates of happenings.. Please share pictures and stories !!!
