Thank you all for being so patient. Unfortunately, I have to wait for a Space Allocation meeting to request/ get assigned a space for the CKC, and that meeting date is yet to be determined by the Space Allocation Committee.
I also run the Lucky Bag on Base, and I had thought of combining the two for the time being, but the Lucky Bag is located in a literal cage near a utilities area, and has roaches and other insects come and go as they please. So definitely not the place I want to store Baby/Kids Items.
So while my hopes were high, and I had support, the means to get assigned a space to store items so they can be available for all is providing to have a lot of "red tape" as it were.
I intend to speak with a few more people to see if we can at least get a date set for this Space Allocation meeting.

Once we have a temporary and/or permanent location, I will gladly accept donations of old shelves, hangers, containers, ect. I'll be looking on Marketplace as well myself; here's an example of the storage look I'm thinking.

It may take a while to get a permanent location, but there are a few promising temp rooms in looking into. If all goes as planned, I'll have space in one of the temp locations ready to receive donations by next week! I'll keep you all updated; thank you for the support!

I'm meeting with a representative at Tradd Street on Tuesday August 9th in hopes to secure a location for the Coastie Kid’s Closet!
