There was another wonderful Leadership Kanawha Valley Session last week! 🤩

Our participants gathered for Session 2 to learn more about the people, organizations and initiatives shaping Kanawha County and our region’s future.

From local government and community foundations to wildlife education, corporate leadership and workforce development, the day was packed with valuable insights and opportunities to see our community from new perspectives.

A big thank you to our speakers for sharing their time and expertise, and to Joshua Higginbotham Consulting for sponsoring this session.

We’re excited to watch this group continue to learn, connect and grow as the next generation of community leaders!

🍂🍻 What a great night at Business After Hours!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday for an evening of networking, great conversations and a little Oktoberfest fun! We had such a wonderful crowd and are so grateful to everyone who joined us. Congratulations to West Virginia State University on this exciting announcement! We can’t wait to watch this university grow through this grant award & the impact it will make for generations to come 🌱

WVSU has received a $26.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the largest competitive grant award in University history!
The funding will help build the WVSU Agriculture Complex, a cutting-edge facility with laboratory space for our Purdy School of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources and the West Virginia Department of Agriculture.

🎃 WHAT A NIGHT! 🎃 Last night’s First Tuesdays was spooktacular & we’re pretty sure we’ve found our new favorite fall tradition! We had an absolute blast carving pumpkins, enjoying delicious pizza, and seeing new & familiar faces.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the night so special:
