On Saturday, June 20, members of the Mount Pleasant Fire Department proudly participated in the Charleston Memorial Stair Climb at the North Charleston Coliseum.

This annual event honors the courageous firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving others. Each step climbed serves as a powerful reminder of their bravery, dedication, and selfless commitment to protecting their communities.

We are honored to stand alongside our fellow first responders and community members in remembering those we have lost and ensuring their legacy continues to inspire future generations.

Congratulations to the Columbia Memorial Stair Climb for a successful 10th annual climb!

Nearing the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Columbia residents honor first responders Saturday by climbing 110 flights.

Wow! What an amazing turn out for 2026. Thank you to every climber, sponsor, supporter, volunteer, and spectator who came out to help honor and remember our fallen heroes.
