"CCBHCs: Care That Connects"

West Virginia is stepping into a new era for behavioral healthcare as we've been selected as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Demonstration State, bringing an important opportunity to strengthen how comprehensive and integrated mental health and substance use services are delivered across our state. The CCBHC model is designed to make care more accessible, coordinated, and comprehensive — helping people get the right services, in the right place, and at the right time.

Over the coming months, the WVBHPA will be highlighting what CCBHC means for West Virginians, the providers who serve them, and the future of behavioral healthcare in our state. This is about building a system that meets people where they are and makes it easier to get the care they need. Follow along as we explain the CCBHC model and what this transformative opportunity means for behavioral healthcare in the Mountain State.
