Good morning Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

As I announced following Divine Liturgy on Sunday I am asking for your assistance in funding BRAND NEW furniture and other accessories for the Youth Room at OUR Hellenic Center. In just a few days we have already reached half our goal. I pray you will consider helping put us over the top so our youth have a nice, clean and welcoming place to gather.

I have attached an updated flyer with the specific needs you can sponsor if you are interested. You can also make a general donation toward the Youth Room. As of today we have collected $7,700 toward our goal to raise $16,000. Every donation helps us reach our goal.

I want to express my gratitude to the members of the Parish Council for allowing us to undertake this project for our youth.

Please contact Ms Cleo in the office to arrange for your donation.

In Christ,
Reverend Protopresbyter Athanasios C Haros, Pastor

Be Like God - That was the theme of yesterday's sermon by Father Athanasios. When we think of The Golden Rule, we think about how we are going to treat people ‘the way’ they treat us. We never really think about how Christ said that was no different than the world. The REAL Golden Rule is to be like God, loving and living as God loves and lives. God is good to us even when we are not good to Him. Our call as Christians is to treat others like God treats them. That is golden. LINK IN THE FIRST COMMENT.
