Last month, we began a partnership with a Seacoast Church - Mount Pleasant ministry called Bagels Under The Bridge. Every 3rd Friday, this wonderful group serves food to hungry people.

For this initial effort, our friends at Bishop Gadsden's Gadsden Glen kitchen donated un-plated, leftover buffet food and the "Under The Bridge" folks took it from there, feeding about 75 people.

We'll repeat this process next week.

A big shout-out to Gadsden Glen for their generosity, and to the Under The Bridge crowd for the service they're providing!

In three years, we've redistributed 80 tons of leftover food to Charleston-area nonprofits. There's a lot left to collect, though, and the need is great. Join us: [email protected] or www.cuisinerescue.org.
