We are THRILLED to reintroduce ourselves as the Rotary Club of Clements Ferry!

We thank our former members, community supporters, the Rotary Club of Daniel Island for starting the Cainhoy Peninsula Satellite Club, and Rotary International District 7770 for helping us charter.

It is an honor to serve alongside 8 existing and 8 new members, creating lasting change around the world, across our community, and within ourselves.

Our President, Marion Harris, participated in Philip Simmons Elementary School’s Career Day and met MANY future Rotarians!🙌

Presenting her life as a “Professional Volunteer”, she talked about being Volunteer Manager at East Cooper Community Outreach and our club’s impact at Philip Simmons Middle School. In addition to landscaping their outdoor learning space and supplying their autism sensory classroom, we installed the hygiene closet and restocked the elementary and high school’s so students feel comfortable and confident throughout the school year.

She LOVED hearing how students have or want to volunteer. Some ways included…
⚽️Becoming a coach of their favorite sport
🐴Rescuing animals and protecting wildlife
🥣Feeding the unhoused

When asked why, one student answered, “Because it’s important to help others!” We couldn’t agree more.

Rotarians are role models, especially at home. By joining our club, you are investing in our community and becoming a part of the solution. You never know who might be inspired by your actions💡
