From wagging tails to calming cuddles, our favorite therapy dog reminds us that a little kindness (and a few pets) can go a long way. This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating pawsitive connections, campus care, and unconditional love—EIU style. 🐶❤️

Join us for a cozy, heart-warming presentation about Officer Penny, her role on campus, and how she helps students de-stress and feel the love this semester.💘

For our last meeting, we had a wonderful discussion and meet-and-greet with some of our therapy dog friends! We presented and learned about therapy/service/and emotional support animals, and heard firsthand experiences from the wonderful therapy dog handlers that often come to Booth during finals, and of course, got to pet these sweet dogs as well! Thank you for a wonderful semester, and good luck on all your finals, Panthers! 🐕‍🦺🐾

Join us this Thursday, 12/11 at 5 P.M. in the Clock Tower Lounge on the 4th floor of Booth Library, past the fishbowl, to meet with some therapy dogs! We'll discuss the differences between therapy, service, and emotional support animals, and listen to accounts from therapy dog handlers and meet their furry friends for some pets too! A few weeks ago, we were able to help Jim Beam's Corner Cattery make cozy homemade cat shelters for feral cats out of boxes and straws! These shelters are perfect for stray and feral cats that need a shelter outside in this cold weather. If you'd like to purchase one to put out for outdoor cats near you, reach out to Jim Beams's Corner Cattery to see if there are any left to help out our adventurous furry friends with a warm space this winter! 😸🐾

Join us next week, on the 20th at 5 P.M., as we welcome Aikman Wildlife Adventure for an Animal Show and Tell! They'll be talking about their work, facilities, and showing off a few animals to us! In addition, we'll be hosting a Pawsgiving donation event! Bring some food, toys, and/or various other items for animal shelters in need, especially with the weather getting chilly! We can't wait to see you there! 🐢🐍🐇🦔

We are so grateful to be able to visit and help MOORE’S RESCUE RANCH this past Saturday!
