It’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 24, from 10 am to 2 pm!

Got expired, unused, or unneeded prescriptions lying around? Drop them off at some of our local drop-off sites:

Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at Walmart
Shepherdstown Police Department

✅ Accepted: pills, tablets, capsules, patches, and liquid medications sealed in their original containers
🚫 Not accepted: syringes, sharps, or illegal drugs

Leftover medications, especially opioids like oxycodone and hydrocodone, can be misused or accidentally swallowed by kids and pets. Getting them out of your home is one small step that can save a life. ❤️

Can’t make it Saturday? Many pharmacies and police departments have year-round drop boxes.

We are so excited to announce our upcoming event, Elevate Youth Elevate Joy, on October 17th from 11am-3pm at Charles Town Middle School! EYEJ is a community wellness and youth empowerment event designed to bring together students of all ages and their families to grow their knowledge and skills through special workshops.

Also, participants who attend for the entire day will be entered to win a brand-new iPad, so be sure to check it out! We hope to see you all there!
