It’s getting to be that time of year where lots of overgrown branches and storm damaged trees might be encroaching a bit too far into the road easement, which should be clear 10’ from the edge of the road.

Today I went and cleared the branches down by the southern entrance to the neighborhood, as the resident who lives there was in need of assistance clearing these few limbs that were danging into the road.

If you need assistance, reach out to the HOA, or respond to this post. Perhaps there are some of your neighbors who would be happy to lend a helping hand!

Hi everyone!
Last year we unfortunately saw plenty of spotted lantern flies throughout our neighborhood so this year they’ll be even worse. We need to do what we can to combat this problem, now is the time to find and scrape away any eggs you can find on your trees.

Additionally, they love tree of heaven quite a bit, so removal of this invasive tree species is also very helpful in controlling the spread of the lantern fly. There are a few apps which can help you identify this species of tree in your yard. My favorite is called “picture this”. If you need help removing a tree of heaven, perhaps you can post here and those able to help can reply.

Please share any other helpful tips you have on removal and control of these invasive pests!
