2nd Regiment PACS has had two busy weekends.
Attending The Blue and Gray in Philipi, WV 5/29/26 - 5/31/26 and The Battle of Fort Pocahontas this past weekend.
Philipi, WV was very welcoming to all reenactors and guest. They had music, crafts, food vendors, opened their museum, and a parade Friday night that we participated in. Battles were held Saturday afternoon, a night battle Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The town expected around 100 reenactors to show for this event, over 200 showed up this year. It was very exciting to see so many people getting involved and a small town putting so much effort into such a memorable event.
Fort Pocahontas, the weekend was very hot but the people were fantastic. We camped with the horses and went on the field as dismounted Calvary.
We want to thank Longstreets corps for hosting us this past weekend. We enjoyed this event and look forward to working with them in the future.
