Different Walks of Life, Inc. is excited to kick off our 2026 Back-to-School Book Bag Drive, and we need your help!

We're collecting NEW BOOK BAGS to support students in Charles City, Greensville, and Sussex Counties for the 2026–2027 school year.

Every donated book bag will be filled with school supplies by Different Walks of Life, Inc. and distributed to students and families in need. While school supply donations are appreciated, a new book bag is all that's required!

A Community Call for Support: Different Walks of Life, Inc. is asking our community, friends, and supporters to come together during a difficult time.

It is with heavy hearts that we support the family of Rev. Montey F. Cotman, Sr., who faithfully served as Associate Pastor and Chairman of the Trustee Board at Little Elam Baptist Church. Rev. Cotman was also a hardworking truck driver, a devoted family man, and someone who touched many lives through his kindness, faith, and dedication to helping others.

Rev. Cotman spent his life serving both God and his community. Now we have the opportunity to show that same love and support to his family.

In alignment with our mission at Different Walks of Life, Inc., we have launched a fundraising effort to help assist with the funeral and burial expenses. Our goal is to help ease the financial burden on the family as they prepare to celebrate his life and legacy.

We ask that you please consider donating, sharing, and keeping the Cotman family in your prayers during this difficult time.
