Here are the September 2026 Program and Menu calendars for The Community Center.

A different meal every day of the week. No repeats. What more could you ask for? They are prepared daily by our in-house cook and served to you fresh and hot. No prep or clean up for you. We do it all. And all for the low cost of a suggested $5 donation ($10 fee if under 60 yrs). We ate there on Friday last week. Had Salsbury Steak and gravy over noodles, steamed vegetables with a cheese sauce, a slice of whole wheat bread and watermelon plus drink. It was absolutely delicious. Mealtime is about 11:55 am. I needed to leave by 12:30 and had no trouble getting my meal, eating and out the door in plenty of time. Try it for your lunch break one of these days. You can be in, eat a full course hot meal and be out in no time to return to work. Come give us a try. You won't be disappointed.

There are a number of interesting and informative programs to choose from. For example, notice that our school superintendent will be at The Center on Friday, the 4th. There are a lot of misconceptions and questions regarding the PPEL vote on Sep. 8th. Come learn accurate facts and get your questions answered. That is just one of the many programs being offered. And don't forget about Community Bingo every Tuesday evening starting at 6:30 pm sharp. The Black Out prize is up to $500. Come play this Tuesday and see if you could be the big winner! If no one wins the prize will carry over every Tuesday until we have a winner.

No membership is needed for either the meals or the programs. We do ask that, if you would like to join us for a meal, you call a day ahead so the cook knows how many hot meals to prepare for the day. Call 641-228-3114. All are always welcome. Hope to see your there!

ATTN: Are you ready to win $500?

Now is your chance! Come play Bingo at The Community Center this Tuesday night, September 1st. The prize for Black Out this week has climbed to the maximum of $500 and will stay there until we have a winner.

Bingo is played every Tuesday night at The Community Center. Packet choices are $5, $10 or $15. Cards for extra games played though out the evening are $1 each. Depending on the packet you choose, you can play all evening for about $10! Children are welcome to play but laws dictate they must be accompanied by an adult who would receive any prize money won.

Games begin at 6:30 sharp. Cash prizes are awarded for every single game. Because the amounts to be awarded are a % of the bingo card sales and need to be calculated before games begin, cards cannot be sold after the games start at 6:30.

Bingo is open to all. No membership is required. All are welcome. COME PLAY! You may walk away the big winner or be one of the many smaller cash prize winners. Regardless you will have an evening of fun. Hope to see you there.
